Project Attorney – Cybersecurity

CM Legal

A leading global law firm is seeking a Cybersecurity Project Attorney with one to three years of experience to support its fast-growing, internationally recognized Cybersecurity & Incident Response practice. The role can be based in any of the firm’s U.S. offices (Austin, Boston, Charlotte, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Orange County, Portland, Sacramento, San Francisco, Santa Monica, Seattle, Silicon Valley, Washington, D.C., and Wheeling), and fully remote U.S. candidates will be considered.

The Project Attorney will work on live incident response engagements from the start. The role also supports practice operations and innovation, including refining incident response workflows, building knowledge and precedent libraries, piloting legal technology and generative AI tools, and developing ways to share matter data and metrics with clients.

Candidates must have a J.D. and be admitted in good standing in a U.S. jurisdiction. They need one to three years of experience in incident response, privacy, data security, or a related area, and data breach response experience is strongly preferred.
