A leading law firm is seeking a Systems Administrator for its Boston office. Reporting to the IT Manager – Infrastructure, this role supports a Microsoft-centric environment of Windows Server 2019/2022/2025 and Microsoft cloud technologies, with a focus on the firm’s hybrid Active Directory and Entra ID environment.

The Systems Administrator will administer and secure Azure services, including Azure AI, AI Foundry, Copilot agents, Microsoft Fabric, and Power BI. The role covers Entra ID, including Conditional Access, Privileged Identity Management, and access reviews, as well as Intune policies, Key Vault, private endpoints, and RBAC. Responsibilities also include monitoring and fixing security incidents across cloud and on-premises systems, administering Windows Server, server hardware, and SAN/NAS/DAS storage, and running preventive maintenance, audits, and upgrades. The role builds links between on-premises, cloud, and third-party platforms, keeps system documentation current, and provides after-hours support as needed.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in a Microsoft IT environment. They need PowerShell skills, familiarity with Microsoft Graph API, and hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Intune, Hyper-V, Defender, Citrix, and enterprise backup solutions. A strong grounding in cybersecurity, excellent communication skills, and a service-first approach are essential. This is a hybrid role with 60% in-office presence. The salary range is $100,000–$120,000.
